Amanda Maldonado Reed

“ Progress is not linear; the important thing is to keep moving forward”.

Throughout my life journey, there have been many obstacles I have faced. We all face challenges; some prove to be more difficult than others. I believe that small goals are the cornerstone to long lasting and effective change. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals with neurodivergence/developmental disabilities. I have established a wealth of knowledge working with diverse populations using Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Play and Art Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy, while incorporating Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing strategies

I specialize in crisis management, suicidality, self-esteem issues, relationships, stress management, and psychosis. Working alongside law enforcement, I see firsthand the challenges of first responders, veterans, and military personnel. My goal is to help individuals increase self-awareness and embrace the power of healing from past experiences through psychotherapy. I aim to build a foundation of trust and support in our sessions, and I am ready to work with you.
